“The shooting in Orlando is absolutely tragic. Our thoughts and sympathies are with the victims, families and all those affected by this horrific tragedy. This is a difficult time for everyone, especially the families of the victims; however we ask that everyone stand strong, be vigilant, and watch out for one another. We must not allow acts of violence or terrorism to intimidate us. As Americans we can not allow fear to define us.”

We believe in religious freedom, civil rights and human rights.  We believe that there is “No compulsion in religion (Quran 2:256).”   We reject violence, hatred, and discrimination toward anyone on the basis of race, color, gender, disability, religion, familial status, sexual orientation and national origin.  We support the United States Constitution and uphold the value of civil rights for all people.
