Muslim woman who accused Paterson of discrimination gets $400K settlement
The city council approved the settlement Tuesday for former Board of Adjustment Chairperson Montaha Debb, who accused co-workers and supervisors of excluding her from departmental parties, calling her names and denying vacation requests, the newspaper reported. She alleged in the lawsuit that when she brought the issue to higher-ups, they took no action.
